This guide will insctruct you on how to recreate my personal Oh-My-ZSH configuration.

Prerequisites

The following packages need to be installed on your system:

zsh
git

Install Oh-My-Zsh

Run the following command to install OMZ:

sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh/master/tools/install.sh)"

Install OMZ theme and plugins

Run the following command to install “Powerlevel10k”, “zsh-autosuggestions”, and “zsh-syntax-highlighting” to your OMZ folder:

git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k.git ${ZSH_CUSTOM:-$HOME/.oh-my-zsh/custom}/themes/powerlevel10k && git clone https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-autosuggestions ${ZSH_CUSTOM:-~/.oh-my-zsh/custom}/plugins/zsh-autosuggestions && git clone https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-syntax-highlighting.git ${ZSH_CUSTOM:-~/.oh-my-zsh/custom}/plugins/zsh-syntax-highlighting

Edit your ~/.zshrc to set the theme to Powerlevel10k:

ZSH_THEME="powerlevel10k/powerlevel10k"

Edit your ~/.zshrc file to enable zsh-autosuggestions and zsh-syntax-highlighting:

plugins=(
    git
    zsh-autosuggestions
    zsh-syntax-highlighting
)

Reload your zsh config:

source .zshrc
